I was actually born in Concord, at Mount Diablo Hospital in 1961, as was my sister Cheryl (who runs the front desk at my office)in 1963. I was probably 5 when we left Concord and moved to Southern California, where we stayed until my parents got a divorce in 1970. It was then that my father Cheryl and I moved back to Concord, where she and I started attending Saint Agnes Catholic School. I was a bit of a troubled youth at the time, and well, lets just say I didn't last long there.
My father got remarried in 1974 to a great lady, Judy (whom I was assured was the evil stepmother). Along with a new mother came a brother Ron and two twin girls. But I was still the oldest! As you can guess our house was a bit to small for six so they purchased a boat harbor in Bethel Island.
If there was a paradise for children to grow up in, Bethel Island was it. I grew up on the water, fishing, swimming, water skiing almost every day. I can rember waking my dad early to go water skiing befor school. Life was good.
I attended Liberty High School where I graduated in 1979. By 1980 I had a job at Carter Marine as a boat mechanic and I was working the produce department at Lucky stores. Here is where it all changed. It was about 8p.m. on a friday night. I was on my way out to see my girlfriend Kim. I was stopped at the end of Bixler Road waiting to make a left turn onto Highway 4. It was then that I looked to my left only to see a set of headlights comming straight at me. It turned out to be a 4x4 truck with a camper, he was going to fast to make the corner (about 60 mph)and ran into the drivers side of my 1970 Firebird. I tried to jump to the passangers side, but it was too late. I woke up only to find myself pinned between the drivers door and the center console. I was covered in glass and there was blood everywhere. Poor Kim was on her way home when she saw the ambulances and fire trucks and of coarse what was left of my car. I was off work for months, Doctors were talking about surgery, My life had come to a screeching halt. It wasn't until my grand mother, Olga Gianni, who just turned 90, convinced me to go see her Chiropractor in Concord.
Concord seemed like a long way away to go see a Chiropractor, but as most Italian grandmothers can be, she was a bit persistant.
For about a year I drove to see her Chiropractor in Concord and before you know it I was feeling better. It was amazing. I could stand up straight, I could even bend over. I was so enamoured with what I thought was his ability to heal people, that I attendined Life Chiropractic College West in San Lorenzo, CA. It would be some time before I learned that Chiropractors do not heal people, only God can do that. Chiropractors remove pressure on the nervous system, that's it.
It was in 1985, my Senior year at Life Chiropractic College West that I met my beautifull wife Annette.
I am always amazed at how God will use something that at the time seems terrible, to accomplish something great. I know realize that the accident was a total blessing that he used to point me where I needed to be. For me that turned out to be Concord. Now I was the Chiropractor in Concord.

Annette and I have been maried over twenty years and have been blessed with four great kids, we have three sons and one daughter. We are very active in thier lives from being small group leaders for junior high boys as well as high school girls at our church, to soccer and basketball games we try not to miss a one.

Why I chose to be a Chiropractor in Concord
When I graduated from Chiropractic College, all four of my grandparents were still alive and living in Concord. Along with my parents, they had been such a source of encouragement I decided to open my chiropractic office in Concord.
Both my grandmothers are still alive, Olga, the one that convinced me to go to her chiropractor actually comes in to the office and gets adjusted and her massage every Friday.
